Before Split-Film Productions was established, I had my own production company that went by the name of Split-ting Incorporated. I made videos on Windows Movie Maker from downloaded videos off of Limewire (skateboarding, cars, etc.). If I could, I would put those movies up on my website but those videos technically weren't my own work. In 2006, I purchased my first camcorder, the Canon ZR100. The first movie I filmed with the camcorder was Truck Music Video. It was edited with Windows Movie Maker. That was when Split-ting Incorporated was born.

Later in 2007, things were getting a lot better for me. From a newly designed logo, to my own domain website! I first used to edit my movies with Windows Movie Maker but later I decided to invested my money into new movie editing software called Magix Movie Edit Pro 11. It took a fair bit to learn how to use it of course, but after a while it was soo easy to edit a movie and export it. Think of it like learning to ride a bike. Back then you thought you could never learn how to. Now it's like second nature to us!

I currently use Adobe Premier CS3 to edit my films.

In 2008, on April 14th was the day that I completely paid my lay-away deposit and gained ownership of the best HD camcorder in the world to me, the Canon HV20. I've made plenty of movies with it, and the quality of the video is phenomenal! I still currently use this camera today along with a new Canon Wide Converter Lens which widens the picture so you can see a lot more through the camera.

I also compose music in my spare time. I can play drums and the keyboard. I display my musical talent in my archives under music by yours truely, Daniel_BT.

In July 2009, Split-ting Incorporated was changed to Split-Film Productions due to the fact that the word incorporated could have gotten me questioned since the name wasn't actually incorporated. Though the company name has changed, the videos will still remain the same. Only more professional and in high definition.
